The cucumber plants in his garden needed pollination. Albert Sindlinger decided to remedy this by introducing a hive of bees. Success!
That was 15 years ago. And since he was stung, per se, by bee fever. More specifically, by a love for bees and how they contribute to the environment.
Now Mr. Sindlinger and his business partner Charlie Nash manage up to 120 hives at a time, in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. All are located in pesticide-free locations. From this, they cultivate pure honey via their company Al Bees.
Find their honey in select Reno Nevada area stores, or order online. For more information, visit here.
