The gift series: Love chocolate lovers and wine lovers via one bottle

December, 2014  ___________________________

Capture love for wine and love for chocolate in a bottle — or three.

ChocolatRouge offers three wines that blend natural chocolate extracts with select red wines.
I’ve savored all three, and gotta say that ChocolatRouge wines maintain a respect for chocolate and wine, in quality wines at a friendly price. I recommend them as gifts for party hosts, Secret Santa gifts, and as stocking stuffers — for kids of legal drinking age, but of course!
     Here’s elaborated information.

ChocolatRouge wines
ChocolatRouge Trio“ChocolatRouge” combines the French words meaning “chocolate” and “red” to celebrate a red wine and chocolate infusion. The result is three savory wines that render pause for occasion.
Milk Chocolate blends natural chocolate extracts, a cream select from Holland, and Barbera red wine.
This results in a creamy, milk chocolate pour that tastes delicious chilled or on ice. Love it to stand alone as a dessert or afternoon sweet.

The next two emphasize more a “red wine and chocolate” infusion, with emphasis on the red wine and hint of chocolate in the finish.
— Sweet Red infuses natural chocolate extracts with a wine blend of Pinot Noir, Malbec and Syrah. The red wine is fruit forward to bring a berry taste with a rich chocolate finish.
— Dark Red infuses natural chocolate extracts with a Pinot Noir and Malbec wine blend to make a full-bodied dry wine with a dark chocolate finish.

As a gift
ChocolatRouge
wines have attractive packaging, with labels that show delicate zigzags, representing chocolate streams pastry chefs oft use to garnish a dessert plate.

— Party gift. The bottles look elegant to carry into a holiday gathering and hand the host or hostess. When you do, be sure to present the bottle directly to them, and explain that you selected this combination of red wine and chocolate as a celebratory treat.
*Please note that via wine etiquette, the host or hostess may choose whether to share this gift at the party, or keep it for themselves. You also have the option to prompt them to keep the wine you brought for their own private supply.
— Personal gift. ChocolatRouge wine makes a fabulous “Secret Santa” gift. It makes a fabulous gift for friends who would appreciate a little pause time to savor.
