_______________  Taste! Learn! Love!: resources for wine lovers

Exploring wine includes tasting it, learning about it, and loving it -- at one's own pace. Here are three resources that celebrate this.

Wine Events: Local Wine Events (.com)
Get out and taste wines! This web site helps you find wine events in your area, be it free tastings, special receptions, wine dinners or festivals. You may search on the site, or sign up for event alerts.
Also, folks planning a wine event may post it here.

Wine Handbook: "Ewan Lacey's Guide to Wine Basics"
Learn about wines! This is an ebook, yet I refer to it as a handbook because the information is as cozy and as simply laid out as info in a traditional handbook.
Mr. Lacey is a wine blogger. In this book he spans the basics from "What's all the fuss about wine?" to "Wine-making," to the importance of "Terroir," to the "Tannins" in certain wines. He also explains grape varietals,  including Chardonnay and Merlot, and makes suggestions for buying wine.
All personable, within 20 pages, and all easy to peruse.

"Wine Aficionada": Jacquée T.'s guide to loving wines
Love wines! Tasting wine leads to learning about it, and for many folks, loving it. It all comes full circle. Yet the cycle is ever-going as we continue to taste, learn and love.
In my The Wine Aficionada's Guide to Loving Wine series on EzineArtticles.com, I depict my epiphany to the romance of wine, a la a Frenchman pouring wine tastes and caring to describe the differences, to becoming confident to assert my own descriptions and reactions to wine.
Each Wine Aficionada article depicts a leg in my journey to loving and learning more about wines as I face vintners, fellow wine lovers, and strong-headed waiters.
These are "Detour" or "slow down" depictions that invite wine lovers to join me as the journey continues.
