New coffee shop celebrates a Ribbon Cutting February 6th

Owners of The Boardroom Brew, Gary and Diana Hink, host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in conjunction with the Paola Chamber of Commerce, 10 a.m. Friday, February 6th. They cordially, and with elation, invite folks to enjoy the official ceremony, and mingling, coffee and pastries afterward.

The Boardroom Brew is the newest coffee shop in downtown Paola. ‘Tis located in the historic Jackson Hotel, 139 West Peoria Street. The hotel was built in 1921. Mr. and Mrs. Hink purchased it 2012 when it was a vacant building and renovated it to maintain its original integrity. Today it is an apartment building for people 55 and older.

The coffee shop occupies the first floor, and is open to the public. It is a elegant, wide space with dark, wood floors and high ceilings.

Daily fare includes soups, salads, paninis, fresh baked pastries — and of course, fresh brewed gourmet coffee, including the signature “Miami County Blend.”
